Genuine Leather Menu and Coasters

Client: Mercado

This genuine leather menu and coasters were made for restaurant Mercado. Genuine cowhide was used for both outer and inner lining and finished with a blind blocked logo at front.

*Genuine leather is a natural material so markings such as scars, wrinkles and veining are characteristics and proof that it is genuine leather. On a full hide, you see the natural creases – the neck (the marbling), the belly (slightly softer/smooth), the underarm (soft creasing). These are not defects but proof that it is genuine leather.

** Ironically PU leather-look is available with all the creasing and nicks of genuine leather to make it look more real!

These clipboard bar menus and coasters were created for the trendy James Bull Bar in Vaucluse. The menu features an antique brass clip and debossed pattern on the back of the menu. The coaster is made from a leather-look outer covering with a non-slip felt backing and stitched trim.

The standing menu is collapsible, has a concealed magnetic panel which allows for easy updating and finished with gold rivets. The menu is made from Italian Eclisse textured book cloth with a gold debossed logo. The menus bring style and sophistication to the dining experience.
