Handmade Genuine leather and felt journal

Client: PWC

This journal was handmade from genuine leather offcuts and Australian and New Zealand wool felt. Together with PWC, we came up with an idea to create a product that was environmentally friendly and meaningful to the receiver. 

The corporate tag line was blind debossed on the front of the journal cover. The journal was designed and handmade by the Corban & Blair team. The internal notebook was made from reclaimed office stationery and assembled by a social enterprise Green Collect. The Pen is made from mineral-rich material which reduces the amount of plastic in every casting by a sustainable 60%.

This product shows our passion for creating meaningful products that are valued, useful, desirable and environmentally friendly.

Reusable Shopping Bag

Client: Westpac Indigenous Banking

This reusable foldable shopping bag was made in collaboration with Queensland Indigenous artist Cheryl Moggs for Westpac Indigenous Banking. The bag features her artwork Bushtucker which represents the richness of the native fruit and Cheryl’s memories of collecting naipans in the bush with her mother near the NSW Queensland border.

Reusable shopping bag

Client: ANZ

This reusable foldable shopping bag was made for ANZ as gifts to their customers, to celebrate Australian culture in collaboration with Indigenous artist Lucy Simpson. Lucy Simpson is a Yuwaalaraay woman (northwest New South Wales). She is the founder of design studio Gaawaa Miyay (river daughter) Designs.

This design, Wagibaa, speaks a story of Yuwaalaraay country. Inspired by the lines of country, it traces the north-west plains where the sky touches land. The colour was selected to match the unique ANZ colour swatch and corporate branding.

Brown genuine leather compendium with blind blocked logo, designed exclusively for the Arjo Wiggins. The compendium features matching brown canvas lining with leather pockets and pen loop, vegetable tanned zip puller with debossed logo.

This A5 leather journal was made for the Positivity Insitute. The Positivity Institute is an organisation dedicated to the research and practice of well-being science for life, school and work. the program is based on the science of Positive Psychology and helps individuals build resilience and wellbeing so they can flourish through meaningful, transformational and sustainable change. The journal is made from recycled leather with gold-foiled logo and matching gold elastic. The journal has a pen loop, slit for a business card and an inner left pocket.
