Poetry Card Holder

Client: CC Australia DMC

This cardholder was designed in collaboration with CC Australia DMC and Red Room Company. The cardholder features a blind debossed text of a poem by aboriginal poet Lorna Munroand presented together with a card with her full poem.

* Natural Veg Tan (vegetable tanned) leather is unique. It is pale in colour, but once exposed to light and handling deepens to a rich tan colour. Leather is a natural material so markings such as scars, wrinkles and veining are characteristics and proof that it is genuine leather. Each piece is slightly individual which is why we love using it.

Northern Escape is a boutique accommodation situated in far north Queensland with three beautiful boutique lodges located amongst Queensland’s iconic reef, rainforest and outback. The symbols representing each lodge debossed and foiled with white on the menu and folder.

Leather Card Holder with Box

Client: TEDxSydney

Corban & Blair was given the opportunity to design a card holder for TEDxSydney 10th year anniversary event as part of a gift to VIP guests. This card holder was designed to reflect the event theme “LEGACY”. The cardholder is made from vegetable tanned leather, features red x lining and a blind blocked ‘X’ logo on the back. Vegetable tanned leather ages over multiple uses. Once exposed to light the leather creates a unique mark absorbing oil from the user’s skin. Just like the theme legacy, each cardholder marks the memory of the handler.

Corban & Blair was given the opportunity to design a bag tag for TEDxSydney as part of a gift to event visitors. This bag tag was designed to reflect the event theme “HUMANKIND” with an identifiable shape of a human. We created a tag that was original, memorable and identifiable by fellow TEDx visitors. The bag tag is made from leather and blind blocked with an X.
