The Birrarung (Yarra River) is the majestic river of mists and shadows. Simone, a Naarm based multidisciplinary Artist and a Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung and Yorta-Yorta Traditional Owner through her mother, draws inspiration for her art and dreaming stories from abundant textures and colours of Country, along with the ancestral bonds she has to the Birrarung (Yarra River) and Dhungala (the Murray River).
