A FUN EXPERIENCE BEING CREATIVE!
As part of Craft Week, we hosted a Collage Making Workshop on Saturday at Corban & Blair, led by the talented artist Fiona Roderick.
Fiona shared some amazing techniques, tips, and tricks—plus where to find the necessary materials and tools. The workshop was fun. Everyone got creative and came up with clever, unique artworks. It was a joyful session full of inspiration, leaving participants eager to make even more masterpieces.
We hope to do another one next year and exhibit all the works in our Window Gallery at 2-4 Victoria Street Lewisham.
Fiona is a printmaker who creates wall prints using her lino print proofs and collaging them into prints, using wood, paint and paper. Natural themes are important to her work as they literally carve out the essence of landscape, flora and fauna. Her inspiration derives from the organic forms evident in nature and the urban environment around her home in Sydney’s inner west and Sydney Harbour.
