A5 Genuine Leather Journal

Client: ODIN

This genuine leather journal was handmade by a local leather craftsman. The journal features a large debossed logo at front, curved inner pocket with two slits for business cards, a refillable A5 recycled paper notepad, a pen loop and elastic closure. The refillable notepad is made from 100% de-inked recycled post-consumer waste collected from offices throughout Australia. It is carbon neutral and made in the Maryvale Mill in Victoria.

A6 Notebook Gift Box with New Zealand Fauna Prints

This A6 notebook gift box set was made in collaboration with New Zealand artist Elliot Mason. Each notebook features a design by Elliot in various foil prints representing plants and fauna native to New Zealand. The gift box includes a note with the artist’s profile and the meaning of each design.

A5 AUS made Recycled Leather Journal with Indigenous Design

Client: MFS

This A5 recycled leather journal was designed in collaboration with Indigenous Artist Lucy Simpson from Gaawaa Miyay Designs. The Kraft leather journal features a design DUALITY and the black kraft leather features BARRAN GIIRR. 

Lucy Simpson is a Yuwaalaraay woman (northwest New South Wales). She is the founder of the design studio Gaawaa Miyay (river daughter) Designs.

The journal is made from quality recycled leather, the A5 Australian made journal features a curved inner pocket with two slits for business cards, refillable A5 notepad, a pen loop and elastic closure.

The recycled leather is made from combining 60% genuine leather fibres from the European shoe and handbag industry, 20% natural latex, 10% natural fat, 10% misc/raw material with tanning agents and water.

The refillable pad is made from 100% de-inked recycled post-consumer waste collected from offices throughout Australia, it is carbon neutral and made in the Maryvale Mill, in Victoria.

This journal and luggage tag set was custom made for Sydney Airport. The journal and luggage tag is made from recycled leather debossed with the Sydney Airport logo and come in four different coloured elastic inspired by the Indigenous artwork featured in the wire pad notebook. The journal has a debossed text on the inside of the journal pocket which outlines the company motto.

Poetry Journal

Client: Red Room Poetry

This poetry journal was made in collaboration with Red Room Poetry. The journal is made from recycled leather and features poetry by Tibetan artist Tenzin Choegyal on the front of the journal foil blocked in white. Tenzin Choegyal is one of the world’s finest musicians in the Tibetan tradition. As a son of Tibetan nomads, he feels a particular connection to the music of the high Himalayan plateau.

The journal includes a wire-bound book that includes poetry from various artists printed in recycled paper. The book is made from 100% de-inked recycled post-consumer waste collected from offices throughout Australia. It is carbon neutral and made in the Maryvale Mill in Victoria.
